When is it worth re-upholstering furniture
- When you absolutely love your old furniture. Your furniture has a history that can’t be bought or replaced. If a piece has sentimental value, it’s worth recovering.
- When your old pieces have a good frame. If your furniture has a sturdy and strong frame, it’s worth reupholstering. Expensive antiques may be reupholstered many times.
- When old furniture can be updated to your style. We can change any piece of furniture. A significant advantage is our fabric selection. We display an endless selection and variety of different fabric and textures.

Most upholstery weight fabrics sold in South Africa are 140 cm wide. A reasonable allowance has been made for matching, but some stripe, plaid and floral patterns, with large repeats, may take more fabric. You must also add extra fabric for arm covers, self-lined skirts and attached pillow backs.
